The Relevance of Santh RaviDas Guruji's Teachings in Today's World
If we are able to enjoy our faith and follow religion and worship our God with free will today, all this credit goes to one holy spirit and Sadguru Sri Sri Sri Santh Ravidas guru ji only.
There have been social reformers, leaders who have been following his path and teachings to enlighten brotherhood and fight for equal justice. All these offshoots are inspirations of the first strain of spiritual DNA of that of Santh Ravidas JI. Follow his teachings for peace and prosperity
Jai Ho Santh Ravidas guruji ki Jai
Only the higher caste people had the privilege to see the deities of God and enter the temple premises. The lower caste was outcast and did not even have the right to dream of God.
Such were the times when God sent his messenger, a spiritual guru, a holy soul into one of the lowest caste family of cobblers. He was none other than our beloved Sant Guru Ravidas.
With such less exposure to education of those days, the sant was an enlightened soul by birth that made him the crusader for the oppressed and underprivileged. Being from the “Chamar” community their family business was that of Cobblers. In his initial days he used to run a small business of being a cobbler and used to stitch footwear for a lot of piligrims. Because of his generous and benevolent nature he severed losses and had to face hard poverty.
But his love for Lord Rama kept him strong from within to make other lives stronger.
Though he was an outcast over a period of time he earned the respect of the priests and other higher ups of the society who used to prostrate in respect of Sant Ravidas guru ji.
Facing unbearable casteism and unfair prejudice, though he was not allowed to follow Hinduism or any faith to worship God, Sant Ravidas humbly preached and spread the message of Love, peace and equality.
Time and again he proved to all those who discriminated that nothing can stop a man from acquiring the devotion of God. All humans are one and God is one to them. God never discriminates, it is we who find differences and create limitations in self interest for self gains. God is one and all have the right to worship and pray.
In modern times, his sayings and preaching’s are moral courage boosters to all underprivileged, oppressed and suppressed castes.
PEACE AND EQUALITY
WILL PREVAIL
"The pond is still till we throw a pebble into it. Ripples are created but they too die down to leave the pond still again."
These are times when mankind is mostly disturbed by pressures, competition, struggles, jealousies and so on.
Trust and genuine intent is missing in most of the people. Whom to believe? is a million dollar question. Everything and everybody seems to be genuine and honest, but every body is not. Knowing pretty well all these facts, we still tend to fall prey in many circumstances.
So believe the Pond and not the stone thrower.
Peace is the solution for all problems.
Spiritual Gurus like Santh Ravidas have left their teachings for people like us to enlighten us that solutions are sought with peace. Peace always leads to equilibrium. Peace is never disturbing. Peace is harmony.
What looked like a task herculean for people under suppression of higher castes was the mission impossible in 15th century for a lower caste human being to oppose the thought of inequality; this was made simple by one strong spiritual soul Santh Ravidas to stand for the underprivileged section of society in peaceful methods of preaching that convinced the community heads to prostrate in front of the saint.
Let peace prevail. That is the best way to honor and worship a holy Saint.
Jai Ho Sri Sri Sri Santh Ravidas guruji
